What or Who is PROJAM?
PROJAM is the acronym for Progressive Jamaicans Association in Canada
which is a voluntary organisation fostering the integration of Jamaicans
in Canada. It is a fledging organization.
Who are the persons behind PROJAM?
PROJAMs activities are organised by a group
of volunteers. A Steering Committee of founding members
and co-opted volunteers currently meet and plan the organisations affairs.
How is PROJAM funded?
Sponsorship from companies and contributions from individuals have funded our various
activities. The "token" fees charged for the respective events have also been used to offset
costs.
How do I get information on and from PROJAM?
PROJAM has been able to disseminate information about its activities primarily through e-mail
distribution mechanisms, committee members and the old fashioned word of mouth channel.
